Our sessions with Coach Kyle were invaluable in terms of defining and growing our culture. The thought and effort he put in to each session was obvious, and his ability to draw out levels deep answers from our players was impressive. It was great to see our players making connections in the sessions and then hear them repeating the same phrases Kyle was saying during the sessions. Players who in the past may not have considered themselves leaders are speaking up, and their teammates are following. I highly recommend his services and feel that they’ve given us a competitive advantage for the upcoming season and beyond!

Not only was Coach Elmendorf a awesome coach and teacher but above all was an amazing mentor. The years that I have had the opportunity to know him, he’s given everything he can to his students, athletes, and friends in his life. Coach is someone who sees the best in everyone and wants to help them see all their dreams come true. Coach Elmendorf was continuous in expecting the best of me on the court, but more importantly, he expected the best of me as a human being. Yes, he taught myselfand our team the plays to be successful on the court, but when those plays on fell short at the end of a game, he would be disappointed... he wanted to WIN!…, but he was still our biggest cheerleader. He encouraged us as a team that the most important thing is to play to the best of your ability and if you give 100%, you are a winner.
Mr. E is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. Not just because I’ve learned more from him about philosophy and history in the last two years compared to the other 15 years of my schooling, but because he’s taught me what success really looks like in the world.
Mr. E has taught me that being a team player or a “green employee” can deem you as a valuable asset to any social group whether that be a sports team, a student, or an employee. Being seen this way will give you more genuine opportunities which may result in a happier life and ultimately greater and more valuable successes than money could ever bring you.
It’s not often you connect with someone you’re so aligned with and can learn from across serval areas of life. These last couple years getting to know Kyle have been exactly that for me. Whether it’s leadership, teaching, coaching, fatherhood, or anything else pertaining to our daily lives Kyle has been an an incredible influence on me and is the type of person everyone should have on their team and in their life.
Coach Elmendorf taught me many different skills and aspects of basketball, but most importantly, life lessons. He always found a way to connect with all of his students and athletes. He puts in the extra time and effort to let us know he cares: hand-written notes, team meetings, thankful notes, and 1:1 conversations. I’ve always been impressed with Coach Elmendorf and how he applies his leadership skills in both school and basketball to help inspire those around him.
